Nursing Care

Our Nursing Home in Aberdeen provides professional care by highly-trained and dedicated nurses. We provide around-the-clock care for those with physical disabilities and high dependency needs, as well as those who have become infirm or require end of life care.

Our nurses are excellent at recognising when Nursing Care is the right option for our residents. They have the education and experience to quickly identify any changes in the health of our residents, as well as knowing when it’s necessary to involve a doctor.

What Does Nursing Care Mean?

Residents who require continuous medical and personal attention will receive Nursing Care. This type of care is most appropriate for those who need intensive rehabilitative care, after suffering from an injury or illness for example. Individuals with physical disabilities and people who are recognised to have long-term issues with their health may also receive this type of care.

Deeside has en-suite bedrooms that feature specialised nursing beds for those who have a particular medical need for one. Residents will also have full access to a range of adaptive equipment that aid with mobility. We are passionate about delivering high quality nursing home care and our teams are trained in a variety of care types, including respite and caring for people living with dementia.

Deesides’ Approach to Nursing Care

Deeside adopts an approach called key nursing, whereby each resident is allocated their own nurse. They then become a familiar face and will provide support to their residents as well as their families and friends. They will provide 24-hour support whilst fostering independence, all in a way that maintains the dignity of our residents.

Residents also have 24/7 access to all of the personal support that can be found in a residential care facility, as well as the added benefit of professional on-site nurses. As a result, Deeside is a fantastic option for those who have medical issues that require continuous monitoring.
