At Deeside, we provide luxury assisted living suites on the top floor of the home which are ideal for those who are self-sufficient and will benefit from an all-inclusive way of life, using the many services and amenities available to them. We take great pleasure in offering a self-sufficient lifestyle for residents who have low dependency needs that promotes independence and enablement and that empowers residents in living life exactly how they wish to.

What is Assisted Living?

Our assisted living, commonly referred to as “Housing with Care”, offers residents the opportunity to live independently in a safe and supportive environment, while knowing that there is a team of care professionals to provide assistance should they need it. Individuals can live their lives with the freedom to spend each day exactly how they want to, with access to a variety of services and amenities whenever they should need them.

Individuals can comfortably live in their own space, with access to a private en-suite wet room, balcony, kitchenette and communal living areas. Those in assisted living will be able to care for their own needs and be fully mobile to move around freely. Residents in assisted living won’t have to worry about maintaining a household or partaking in manual chores.

We are pleased to offer luxurious assisted living suites at our care home in Aberdeen. Each suite is located on the first floor of our residence, with a separate lift and its own private entrance. Each luxury suite comes with a bedroom, en-suite wet room, kitchenette, balcony and living area. Our wonderful care team will always be ready to provide exceptional support and there is a 24-hour emergency nursing phone in all rooms. As care needs change over time, residents are able to transition to a different care type for a continuum of care at Deeside.

Our facilities including a cinema room, private gardens, hair salon, activities programme, meals and laundry service are all included at Deeside. With our chauffeured car service, residents can spend the day in town with loved ones, attend appointments, or pop into the shops with ease. Living at Deeside enables you to not be worried about the cost of living with all household responsibilities taken care of, whilst enabling you to maintain your independence in the knowledge that our team is available 24/7 to support you.

Included in our Assisted Living Suites

A variety of additional medical services are covered by the costs of your stay at Deeside. Each of our residents will have access to the following services:

Access to a GP

Residents will be able to schedule and attend GP visits on their own, or with the assistance of a member of staff.

Physiotherapy

Our residents can get back to feeling like themselves again with Physiotherapy sessions that can be arranged either through a GP or privately.

Chiropody

Every 6 weeks we have a private Chiropodist who visits us at Deeside, and residents also have the option to have their own NHS Chiropodist if visits are required more frequently.

Dental Service

Residents who require dental treatment will have complete access to a dentist, with these appointments being included in the overall fee. Dental treatments can be arranged at an additional cost.

Optical Service

All residents can have any of their vision-related concerns seen to by an optician, as part of the living costs at Deeside. Additional charges will apply for further treatments and glasses.
