Heartwarming Celebrations for Mother’s Day

On Sunday, March 30th 2025, Deeside Care Home was filled with love, laughter, and heartfelt moments as residents, families, and staff came together to celebrate a very special Mother's Day.

The event was a wonderful success, bringing together generations to honour the incredible mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers who call Deeside their home. With beautiful decorations, warm smiles, and a joyful atmosphere throughout the home, the day was a touching reminder of the importance of family, love, and togetherness.

A Day to Remember

Residents and their loved one were treated to an elegant afternoon filled with thoughtful touches. The dining areas and lounges were transformed with floral arrangements and spring-themed decor, creating the perfect setting for celebration. Families enjoyed a specially prepared afternoon tea, featuring a delightful selection of homemade cakes, finger sandwiches, and fresh scones.

There was live entertainment during the day, which brought music, movement, and many happy memories to the surface. Some families danced, others sang along, and many simply cherished the time spent side by side with loved ones.
