Christmas Celebrations

Deeside Care Home has gone full force in celebrating the Christmas season with many joyful Christmas celebrations, fostering community engagement and promoting integrity through intergenerational practices.

The festive season kicked off with a Christmas Fayre on December 9th, where residents, families, and the local community came together to enjoy the festive atmosphere, browse stalls, and partake in Christmas-themed activities. The funds raised will go towards our residents' fund.

Continuing the festive momentum, the much anticipated Christmas Party that took place on December 15th provided an opportunity for residents, loved ones and staff to join in the merriment, spreading joy and creating lasting memories in a lively and spirited setting.

On December 19th, Deeside Care Home hosted a special Christmas session with Moo Music, an inclusive and interactive musical experience with young children, their parents and our residents. This event brought joy to residents and we regularly incorporate intergenerational practices at Deeside.

Through a selection of Christmas events and activities, Deeside demonstrates a commitment to supporting integrity, community engagement, and embracing intergenerational practices. By participating in these festive activities together, residents, staff, and the wider community shared moments of joy, reinforcing the care home's values and creating a warm and inclusive environment during the festive season.

We look forward to partaking in many more fun and engaging activities with residents; there's never a dull moment at Deeside Care Home.
