Within our care home in Aberdeen, we provide 24-hour Nursing Care to our residents with higher dependency needs, those with more significant physical impairments and those who need palliative care. Deeside uses a style of nursing called “key nursing”, in which one of our highly skilled nurses are assigned to each resident in order to establish a special and personal bond. This means that a familiar face is always happy to assist you or your family members with any questions you might have.

Deeside is located in the suburbs of Cults in Aberdeen and is one of the most tranquil locations you will encounter. From an abundance of beautiful green surroundings to a vibrant city life, Scotland has plenty to offer and you will be sure to experience this at Deeside. 

As well as Deeside’s own private garden, there are plenty of other opportunities to get outdoors in the local area, including Allan Park which is an idyllic woodland spot perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of city life, and is just a short distance from Deeside. Additionally, just a 10-minute stroll from Deeside is St Devenick Suspension Bridge, locally known as The Shakkin’ Briggie or Morrison’s Bridge, having been built for Rev George Morrison in the 1830s. Whilst the bridge is now in a derelict state and inaccessible, it makes for an interesting part of Cults history and is a great location for views of the River Dee.

How To Find Us

Whether you are coming from a nearby train station or landmark, or even further afield, we are surprisingly easy to reach.

By Car:

Start at Stone 15. Head southeast on the main road toward the nearest major junction. Merge onto the A93 road, heading towards Aberdeen city. Continue driving on A93 until you reach the outskirts of Aberdeen. Take the exit for the A93 towards Cults/Deeside. Follow the signs for Cults and then for Deeside Road. Continue on North Deeside Road (A93) until you reach Cults Avenue. Turn onto Cults Avenue where Deeside Care Home is located. Our care home will be on your right.

By Car:

Exit Aberdeen Train Station and head southeast toward Guild Street/A956. Turn right onto Guild Street/A956 and continue on A956. Merge onto A90 toward Stonehaven/Dundee. Take the exit toward A93 Deeside Aberdeen. Continue on A93 North Deeside Road. Turn left onto Cults Avenue. Arrive at Deeside Care Home, which will be on your right. Estimated driving time is around 12-15 minutes depending on traffic.

By Foot:

Exit Aberdeen Train Station toward Guild Street. Walk northwest along Guild Street/A956. Turn left onto King Street/A93. Follow A93 North Deeside Road for about 1.7 miles (approximately 35-40 minutes walk). Turn left onto Cults Avenue. Walk a short distance to Deeside Care Home on your right. Alternatively, bus number 19 runs nearby which may reduce travel time significantly.
